The August Co. is a home-grown, contemporary fashion brand for women. As one of the proponents of Slow Fashion, they take pride in hand-stitching their garments, in providing a safe and nurturing work environment, in using fabric discards to make scrunchies and mostly about how 95% of their employees are women. We were indeed asked to showcase what was “Behind the Seams” through this photo/video shoot.
